"I love your style and am looking for invitations for my upcoming wedding. Can I get a sample of your work?"

Of course! Samples of any of our styles are available for a $15 fee, which is then credited towards your total when you place an order. Samples are pulled from current or previous jobs, so we may not be able to provide specific colors. But we are happy to send paper swatches in your colors along with the sample. Contact Karissa to get your sample!

"I like the starfish invitation, but those aren't my colors. Can colors be customized?"

Of course! All pre made designs are available in a variety of colors and with different fonts. Please contact Karissa with questions about specific colors or to order a swatch and paper samples.

"I would like to order a sample, but how do I pay for it?"

kiss + tell accepts payment through PayPal. Contact us with your sample request and we will send you an invoice. You can pay with your PayPal account or simply a credit card.

"Do you offer raised printing?"

kiss + tell currently offers digital flat only. We use premium papers and quality archival inks to ensure your invitations will be free of fading.

"What is the lead time for handmade invitations?"

Design and production time varies with the complexity of your invitations. We want you to be absolutely in love with your invitations, so it is always best to start early and allow plenty of time for the design process. We recommend getting started 2-3 months before you'd like to receive your invitations. Following approval of the final proof, kiss + tell invitations take 2-6 weeks to produce.

"I am just beginning my wedding planning. I know I want handmade invitations but I am still developing the overall theme for my wedding. Is it too early to begin talking about invitations?"

Not at all! Our customers come to us at all stages of their wedding planning. Since invitations make the very first impression on your guests, they are a great place to start piecing together a theme for your special day. Although we're happy to answer questions and discuss ideas far in advance, we prefer not to book orders until the customer has all their details finalized and are ready to proceed with design and production. We recommend that you get back in touch a few months before your wedding, once you've finalized all the details for the invitations.

"I like your style, but I don't see "the" invitation. Do you offer custom design?"

Absolutely! The custom invitation process starts with your ideas for colors, graphics, and style of invitation. Karissa works with your ideas to create custom digital mockups of the invitation of your dreams. From there it's tweaking and editing to get all components just right before moving on to production. This one-on-one design process is perfect for creating unique invitations for the discerning bride and groom who want more options. Please contact Karissa with your ideas and to get a price quote.

"What kind of ideas do you need to begin design of a custom invitation?"

We can begin design work with as little as your color pallete and your ideas for graphic elements you'd like to incorporate. Maybe it's a flower you love, a vintage illustration, or even your wedding dress...we will work with you to compose an invitation package that you will fall in love with.
